John, funny you should say that. Check out the MogRod link in my signature, I'm going a bit beyond what Isis would do and putting a whole Pontiac Solstice drivetrain under my '66 +4. If the car was a +8 I wouldn't hesitate at the idea, especially since I know how much Corvette drivetrains are worth (also if I didn't have enough projects going on already).
Doh, but maybe out there in the USA is someone with a clapped out +8 looking for a little upgrade.
