Just back from a weekend away in the Roadster - the more I drive her the better she gets. Slight panic on the outward flight, complete power loss after first stop attributed to battery securing bracket not being tightened up, battery bouncing around and the earth cable (again not tightened) leaving the terminal. So much for a pdi....
I'm also learning about the minimal ground clearance when it comes to anything other than a billiard table flat surface. Despite a cautious approach I've still been caught out a couple of times by speed humps and car parks - steady as she goes appears to be the order of the day.
The V6 engine is a joy, one moment in silent cruise mode at 2000rpm and the next an angry animal when 5000rpm approaches. Fantastic. Returned around 29mpg on a 100 mile steady run leg of the trip.
I think the mix of tech and minimalism is perfect, the car invites you to get involved but doesn't make it a chore. Feels so 'British'.
Very pleased with my upgrade from 3 to 4 wheels, can't wait for the next journey...
