One way of solving some of the fuel probs on modern mogs is to unlatch the fuel cap slightly....on my 2005 roadster I can unlatch it a small amount without inserting the key to open it properly. This stops pressure or vacuum forming and keeps everything nice. Push it closed in the garage though or you can smell petrol fumes next day....just like in the old days except that petrol smalls horrible now.
