I also like the crisp winter days, but always try to avoid the salt! I'm not sure we can "Sorn" in Holland, but if so, I wouldn't do it.
This year we made a trip on the coldest day in Holland for many years, waves on the IJsselmeer (grate lake in Holland) frozen, feel temp below 20 degrees Celcius! Sunny weather, freezing wind, but roof down, heater up and with leather jacket and cap it was a fantastic experience!
