I have to say I wouldn't be here anymore, if I would drive the 3W without a helmet. But it's something a little bit else, I used to drive the 3W also for time-attack track racing and I turned the 3W upside down once. The helmet saved me. But I don't go for track racing anymore after that accident.
At least it raised up my interests for classic cars and that's much safer
