Just in case Minikeefy doesn't sport this, here's his response to someone who asked about this before:

Basically you should start with resetting the ECU as described in the documents and if the garage is used to Fords this should be easy. It is not the same ECU as Ford but a specialised Morgan version (need I say more!)
I now reset it at the annual service and has seemed to have solved the annoying problem.
