Like Jays, we run the 4/4 with the rack off, except for holidays. My rack does not have sidescreen storage, however it has never been a problem, as we usually do the big mileages with the sidescreens fitted. Then once we are at our destination and the luggage unloaded, we can then run sidescreens off if we want. The (Samsonite) case we use on the rack has a fairly low profile, so no issues there with rear vision. The picture was taken at Roscoff, waiting to board the ferry back to the UK.
