My 2005 4/4 Zetec has the Librands "Quick Shift" fitted and this gives a really nice slick gearchange. It is still available from Librands:

I agree about the look of the narrower body and wheels of the 4/4. If I was buying new now I think I would go for the narrow body +4 which was sold as the 75th Anniversary 4/4 and is what Dave W has recently bought - "Mr Bumble".
