Come the revolution the first against the wall should be the bureaucratic, pedantic, regulation makers.
Couldn't agree more
The Australian market is strangled with these unique design rules that in a global market place are irrelevant, if European safety standards are met then surely that should be sufficient for us. I have heard the reason new 4 seater Morgans cannot be sold in Australia is because they do not meet ADR's for child restraint mounting points in the rear - and this particular standard has impeded or delayed other main stream European cars being launched here too. I understand the ADR's for low volume vehicles are also different which no doubt creates further challenges….
In any case I am looking forward to seeing the M3W in Oz…..we like to be different down here so a unique version of great and fun car will be a welcome addition to Aussie roads
