Can anyone help

Voltage too high from the alternator,therefore the battery light is not going out on panel lights
I have removed the alternator checked brushes all looks good the car has only completed 15,000 miles from new
Would I be right in thinking the voltage regulator has failed within the alternator
If so,where would I buy one
