I found the best way to get that nasty grey BB lube/grease out of the BB is to drive the M3W until the BB is up to temp. This way when the BB is hot the lube flows out much better and then refill with a good quality synthetic gear lube. I did this 3-4 times to ensure all the grey goop was gone and I ended up putting in Red Line Synthetic Heavy Shockproof 75W250 gear oil. Between that gear lube and some rubber washers added between the BB and chassis and heads of the mounting bolts, the BB whine has been greatly reduced.
