Your lucky to get a cable, just had a look at mine and although everything seems fine I thought I would get a spare.....3 dealers later no stock, tried MMC and they would not put me through to Parts Department and advised they will not post out to owners anymore and I have to order through a dealer....have emailed our favourite 'Uncle' to see if he has one, you don't know if Williams had 2 do you? Good job its not a panic job!
Not sure how Henry did it, but he brought one back from MMC....it is a warranty replacement for me as Williams gave a 12 month warranty when I pruchased the car. So far it has cost them one lambda sensor, a wiper blade and a throttle cable. It has got them a lot of good will from me and I keep giving them money for "improvements"!
