When I talked to Dan at Suplex last week he reckoned that the initial few that were built were fine, but there had been a small seemingly innocuous change to a component for the first production batch which had caused the problem. Seems the shocks are made by a sub-contractor to Suplex so the "suppliers let you down" chain gets longer.
My take on it is that they are getting a chance to sort it out, but that chance is not going to last very long.
Utterly hopeless. After any change in spec, however small and however seemingly innocuous, there should always be a test.
