During two weeks on the CoteD'Azur I have had just two! Both through vehicles approaching from the right.
At a wide junction in built up residential area car on collision course going too fast. My passenger saw it first and yelled.
Next I just joined a minor road and a parked vehicle pulled out in front not seeing me in his blind spot. Wife yelled and spared us both a nasty.
Cause?... Ashamed to say due to a lack of anticipation.
