French driving is one of the reasons I like my LR 110CSW. Even a frenchman will think twice before pulling out on a 2 tonne Land Rover doing 110kph, (but only assuming he's seen you). I have also uprated the brakes, so if they do pull out on me I stand an excellent chance of avoiding action.
While touring in France, we have had only one near miss in the Morgan. As I have a 4/4, the brakes are excellent!
