Prioritaire a droite is still common in urban areas .I think it's mad and folks need to be aware of it. Next time you are in France note how many vehicles are dented on the passenger side, there are a lot of them. Drivers of a certain age will still pull out of a side road without looking - we see a lot of that in the Aveyron. In general I would say that the driving is of a very poor standard.
