As I tried today to fit the Empire Bump Steer Correction kit I found out that there was a installation fault made by Morgan. I could not get a good fit of the Empire risers even when they had the same size of the original track rod ends. After I took of the rubbercap on the old track rod ends and fitted them in the holes I found out that they also didn’t fit all the way in ! So I took of the track rod ends of my wives car and at that one the risers fitted perfectly. Which give the conclusion that the track rod ends on both cars are the same But on my car the holes have a smaller size This make that my car has the rod ends a bit higher ( 5 mm) than they deposed to be so it was like a beginning comfort kit. How can a smart mechanic building a new car fit something like this ?
