I got the ebay item listed in the post yesterday.

I took the S2 into the office today. A34 up to the M4, M4 Newbury to Reading.
Top down for the wonderful day. I may have briefly exceeded the legal posted limit by a small amount for very short sections of the journey as the traffic was light.

I plugged it directly into my iPhone 5s and it worked fine. Simple 2.5mm socket connection, no bluetooth fluffing around. This did not however result in it silencing my radio/music from the Becker when a call was placed. A bluetooth headset does this.

I phoned a few of the colleagues to test it.

It was quiet until I adjusted where it was positioned on my neck.
I did have to speak reasonably loud (images of Dom Jolly)
I could hear them well through the earpiece
It was comfortable on my neck and in my ear
As it was only in one ear I did not feel distracted whilst driving, well less than the call !
Easy to slip on and off.
Cable was a little short but I have a suction dashboard mount so it was fine.
Easier to hold on my head than a bluetooth thing when I am moving my head to scan over shoulder and around the road. Sometimes my Jawbone starts to dislodge when I am fast scanning in town and motorway. This is distracting at a bad time.
Volume of the earphone was okay.

Feedback from the other caller was that it was generally pretty good, better than the Jawbone. Background noise was not an issue. As long as I spoke clearly and a little loud they were happy.

I don't promote this to say you should be on the phone whilst you are driving, that is your decision. There are times when I won't answer the phone. The A34/M4 drag I travel does not tend to be taxing and leaves the few remaining cycles to deal with a call. I advise them I am driving and may go local at points, most people give latitude for this.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
