Could I suggest that this might be unwise? Yes it may adsorb the noise for a while but the energy so captured will, one day, be released in a nanosecond, with interesting results!!
Seriously, I plan to start at the front and work backwards, Dynamat comes in boxes of 12 sheets. The floor, the panel behind the seats and the boxes behind the doors are a priority.
I have to take the seats out, at least the co-pilots seat, as it sits so low that she can't see out properly. Older Mogs had wooden blocks under the seat runners, lifting them 1". I plan to add such supports. A side benefit is that it will make the seat runners work more smoothly. As built the seat is bolted through the carpet which means they tend to flex, making adjusting the seat position a real trial.
