Red squirrels are a delight and making a slow comeback in some areas.
Grey squirrels are vermin and feeding them is illegal. If you trap them you MUST kill them, releasing a trapped one is illegal. But they are very good to eat, flavoursome rabbit is the best comparison. We can get them from the local game dealer for £1.00 each. Brilliant in a paella.....
