I agree with Heinz, on the S2/Transit box first is really to short and it is very easy to hit the soft rev limiter.
Second is also a bit short, it is easy to pull away in 2nd on the level.

Aldermog's engine has done 25,150 miles and the inside of the engine is still as new, when the oil was changed earlier this year, after 5000 miles, it was clean and gold. I suspect the engine is good for 250K miles...

Having driven an Auto +8 I still think not fitting an auto box to the Roadster was/is a lost opportunity. It would have improved sales for those like me who want to tour, not race!

If I had the choice between an auto 3.7 Roadster and an Auto Plus 8 I'd take the Roadster....
