If I look at our Series 2 there is now some small bubbling around the rear light tunnels and front indicators. To put this into perspective it is a 2005 car. It has done 22k miles and been out in all weathers.

I see a lot of 2005 cars made of steel that have bad rust and need total panel replacement, this just needs a good re-spray.

Admittedly they probably get more use, also in bad weather. I think the conversation around washing it off and de-humidifier sounds like the most valuable step to remediate.
