It will smell for quite some time, too...
I was surprised that after running the car for some 30 minutes there was hardly any smell.
There are a lot of different heat protection straps on the market.
I got 30meters, 5cm wide and 2mm strong for € 42,50 from WilTec /Germany incl. posting and tax.
I found lots of more expensive offers in the i-net.
Lets see how long it will stay on the pipes...
