I bumped into the guys at the Autosport Intl at the NEC last week and they had their air-filter cover on the stand (but alas no exhausts, as the first batch are still being made apparantly), which looked good. Nice increase in space around the element for improved flow, without being too obvious. We chatted about the Stage-1 kit and how the fuelling looked when they had it on the dyno and I am relieved to hear that it was actually pretty good. It's as if the factory mapping was done before the exhausts were plugged up by regulations/noise/Type-Approval or whatever..... wink

They added their own Wide-Band lambda's to monitor AFR's on the development car, so did a proper job on making sure the car was still safe. To be honest our cars pink/detonate enough as standard, which is already pretty dangerous and way more risky I'd suggest than curing it by fitting proper exhausts. I look forward to getting my kit and enjoying the free-flowing benefits!
