Out of curiosity, has anyone had any problems associated with wrapped headers?
I ask because there is a debate about it in many places not just Talkmog, causing failures in cars. As a M3W has exposed headers then they are far more exposed to getting wet.
People say wrapping caused headers to crack etc. , so does anyone have experience, albeit stainless not cast iron.
My mate is thinking of wrapping his Aero8 headers to reduce temp under the bonnet which well protected from weather so the comments R&D getting wet won't apply.
