Wonder what else is wired up, or not, that we know nothing about ? When I first picked up my car there were a number of glitches which took a while to put right because the factory weren't able to confirm how the dash lights/switches should operate and it's not in the handbook.
Everything is ok now, as far as I know, but does make me smile when something like this comes to light.
