I'd buy one, but not until there are a few more Supercharging points north of the M4/M25.

A typical business trip is Salisbury to York and back with an overnight stay. Without a fast charging point in York it wouldn't be possible.

Like most petrolheads, i used to be extremely sceptical, nothing beats the sound of the V8!!
But once you're been in it, the quiteness, the smoothness and instant power without the need to wait for the engine to build up revs and the gearbox to change is quite an experience, its almost telepathic!! You think and it goes.

My boy racer days are well and truely over(never much of a boy racer to begin with anyway), all i care about now is looking forward to show a very clean pair of heels to those so called sportcars to boost my ego grin2

The acceleration was mind boggling, I test drove the P85(420bhp), and I can't wait for my AWD P85D to come(691bhp!!)

You could visit the Tesla site and check out their supercharger map.
For your business trip, the following would be your charging route:

Today:
Salisbury -> Northampton SC -> York (Stay somewhere with destination charging)
York -> Northampton SC -> Salisbury

Future: next few months:
Salisbury->Tankersley SC -> York
York -> Tankersley SC -> Salisbury

Tesla allegedly have done a deal with Sainsbury/Tesco and some hotel groups to install their supercharging stations.

Some have actually appeared in Sanisbury already!!

You could now virtually able to go anywhere in Europe for free

ICE cars will still have their place for now, but within next 20years or so, it'll be a relic!!

And some of us will be able to tell our grandchildren, we used to drive such contraption running on dinosaur juice grin2
