Hi Sospan,
you are right. I used only a 5mm srew and a very thin washer on the Hood site to keep it as small and light as possible.
Due to the problem that the keeper will not be in the center of the magnet I used a washer with 36 mm Diameter. So you can be sure that the keeper touch the magnet independet if it's hot or cold weather.
