With my car the side screen sits ok. No gap opens. The hood edge that comes over the top of the side screen is what comes free. There is a Velcro strip on the inner flap to hold it but this won't keep it there at motorway speeds, and the hood comes away leaving a gap above the side screen. I need to upgrade the Velcro to something stronger, so small, powerfull magnets would possibly work, the narrow size of the side screen aluminium frame restricts what could be used but not impossible, even a small plate strategically placed could be added.
I will try magnets as they are not expensive.
