Not enough to produce visible smoke, but in common with quite a few owners of vintage engines, I use 200:1 two stroke oil as an upper cylinder and valve stem lubricant. Modern oil control rings are somewhat better than those of the 30s and earlier, hence the idea of adding a bit of oil.
With a modern engine, the catalytic converter(s) would be my worry.
