I'm surprised that there's not simple Modified Class for those cars with bits not sanctioned by MMC, as even 3W's with the much praised Empire Kit would be excluded then. Shame, as all this is in the overall interest of everyone really - customers and factory alike.


From the MTWC Bulletin - the "Track Modified" class allows non-Morgan free flowing silencers. It also refers to a "Free Flowing" Air filter, no mention of it being from Morgan. So it would appear a Garage56 modded M3W could take part in the club events but only in the "top" class.

As R1NGA points out - steering has to be "as original Morgan" so that would appear to rule out Empire kitted cars.


I think you'd have to be a very obtuse scrute to turn a car away on fitting an Empire steering modification. The aim is to get more people competing, not less!

Of course, if you consistently wipe the board every time you go out, then things 'may' be tightened..
