I'm very pleased to say I have absolutely no idea what 95% of this conversation is about, as I'm a self taught computer operator & very probably the sort of person that you'd tut loudly at if you stood behind me..!!
However, I took everyone's views into account last summer and bought a Macbook having been sucked down the Apple pipeline with phone & pad. Incidentally, my 88yr old father uses his iPad quite easily as it's intuitive whereas he had no concept of when he moved the mouse it moved an arrow on the PC laptop screen on a trial session with one.
I digress. I'm happy with OS x but about to change to Yosemite anytime I get to have an hours opportunity.
