'Er indoors has a cooper d, bought new in 2008. We had been very pleased with it until last year when the dual mass flywheel let go at 60k km. despite the car having been religiously serviced at the main dealer, their reaction was appalling - truly one of not giving a dermot.
This is of course an issue with my local dealer and bmw France, but I shall never, ever, buy a new car again from bmw in this country. I'm now having the car serviced by an independent garage.
