The dealer has come back with some very interesting payment options, based on a well specified Cooper. Less per month than we are paying on the 320i and nothing extra to pay, so swap a 2 year old BMW for a new Mini.
After 6 months of run flats on the BMW I'll never, ever buy a car with them again. So yes, 16" wheels with sensible profile normal tyres and the adjustable damping. They soften the ride by 10% from normal in "green" mode, in sport they harden by 10%. Only £375!
First test drive on 20th, if that is promising then a loan car for a weekend to make a final decision.
If we go ahead then build slot is end of June: I'll insist on a factory tour!
