I think the rev-matching (downshift blips) was introduced alongside the paddles and operates only in sport mode. This was explained to me whilst going up the hill at TOTH14 in the Speedster, but I was a little too terrified to take it all in... scared

My understanding was that the only alteration to the original programme was to incorporate the paddles, the basic gearbox software remains the same (as developed on my old AeroMax) and if you're using manual the box certainly blips on down changes, though maybe not as much as a PDK in sports mode! cheers flag
