I have a wandering fuel gauge on my 8 - it moves around at will +/- around 10%.
I filled up today (courtesy of the patented Nick flap technique) and it was moving between 85% full and 97% full. This was whilst driving gently on a level road.
Is this likely to be a sender issue or a float issue?
I guess I can live with it, it's roughly accurate.
