Before I bought that one, I looked at a few others and can confidently say that a tired E Type is a sluggish, waywood, horrible car but a well sorted one is still sublime. Sold it 6 years ago when we moved and wish I'd kept it! The amazing thing is, they ride far more like a modern car than their age would suggest.



I well remember looking at several early e types at the Nec classic car show before the 50th anni which were for sale and the prices now look scary !
