I was on a run with the S Wales Triumph club...my mate is sec.
Got to the lights in Mumbles.
The heavens opened.
Hood was down...
I put the umbrella up.
Got a mix of laughs, stares, thumbs up from pedestrians, photos taken on smartphones...
I carried on smiling.
Dropped the brolly down and drove on when lights changed.
I am amazed the number of softtops that seem to have the hoods up permanently.
Bought for show I think. Hood down on 3 scorching days a year and complaints about being hot in the sun!
Nothing better than a winter drive wrapped up well...smiling at the onlookers who must think we are mad.
We ( Morgan drivers) know we are mad!
It never ever ceases to amaze me how mad people think we Re driving in the rain with the rood down and no one bats any eye lid if you walk down the street in the rain.
