There is nothing which could replace the feel of a Morgan. If I would be forced to replace her, I would chose a car with a similar mix of old and new in terms of old but thrilling drive experience vs. good reliability.
I could go with a car where fun has priority and not value. This could be a Porsche 356 speedster replica which indeed is affordable but will never rise in value. Because the chassis is an old beetle one, she gets a historical plate, at least in Germany.
I would buy a car like this one.
