My dealer assured me the problem was solved. I took delivery mid November 2014 and have covered just over 2,000 miles so far. I check the exhausts after every trip and they are holding together for now.
Feels like a ticking time bomb just waiting to go off. That and all the other potential little surprises just waiting their turn are somewhat souring the experience.
I know quite a few of the threads are now telling us how we ought to be focussing on the positives and no longer whinging about all the negatives. All I can say is I never considered myself a glass half empty sort of a chap, but now I'm wondering.
Back to the title of an earlier post I submitted. Such a shame.
I wish you luck with your problem, and being a fellow Brooklands owner I will be keen to see how things are resolved for you.
