It's hard to believe that a vehicle that's legal for sale in the USA isn't legal for sale in Maryland. What's the statute they're quoting here? You might be the only M3W in Maryland...lucky you, I have to deal with Michael down the road from me...but surely those 3 wheeled trikes are fairly common.
Why can't you register it as a motorcycle? That's what the MCO states, and that's the basis for it's being lawful for sale here.
Hey...there are guns for sale in Texas that you can't buy in Maryland, right? Guess it's the same logic. Weed is another example of States rights over Federal. I'm still waiting to see the letter Maryland sent to Morgan. Seems Maryland has it's own regs for motorcycles. supposedly, Texas is even worse. I "might" be able to register it as a "custom" motorcycle, but
might" doesn't inspire me to write a huge check for what "might" wind up being a flower pot on my lawn.
