I think the hardest thing to get used to on your first drive is judging the width. If unsure your wife can help by letting you know how much space you have passing parked cars etc.

The indicators, they cancel just at the crucial moment! You will get used to this but they are a pain at first.

The revs/suitable gear to pull away at low speeds. Get it wrong and the compensator will let you know!
Although its a big engine with plenty of torque at first always bang into first gear when slowing down before pulling away from junctions/roundabouts and use more revs than you think you need.

After many miles you will get a better clutch/revs control and be able to pull away in second from a slow speed but I wouldn't recommend it on first drive. There is a knack.

The most important thing to consider on your test drive is that you BOTH like it.

The car is great out on your own however far more fulfilling if you can share the fun with your wife.

Good luck and have a great time. drive
