Draggin, I don't think your expectations are unreasonable. I think the dealer is missing an important opportunity here. I think he's also unwittingly giving you very important information about his priorities. I think with something so emotional and so purely entertaining..and expensive...you're more vulnerable to a lack of responsiveness from those who are required to get the thing you're desiring. A dealer who cannot see the importance of being responsive to a (potential/probable) customer at the very early stages of the relationship when all that's required is some paper work and them taking your money probably cannot be trusted to take care of you and your new toy as issues arise.
If I were you, I'd separate my feelings about being ignored from my feelings about the 3, and find another dealer, even if it's further away.
