I'm not sure it's resale value that some owners worry about. They just don't particularly want some dirty old slapper in the garage.

Actually, put like that, I wouldn't mind some dirty old slapper in the garage over Christmas. Hahahahaha.

I've never worried about resale values - not once. I do wince at the money I've lost on some cars - but during ownership, the value hasn't been an issue. But I do like seeing a sparkling car in the garage and to deliberately drive it through the mud (I live up a track that turns to mud in the winter) for a 20 minute pleasure drive, seems a bit mad.

New Ferraris and some other exotics change quite dramatically in value once they're over 10,000 miles on the dials - so I can understand why some owners who intend getting in and out (flipping) an Enzo (for example) might keep an eye on the mileage.

Glickenhaus, who is a terribly nice man, is also fabulously wealthy.... makes a teenie difference too. smile
