Hi Richard,
Having fitted my G56 spring , I have had to go back round the fasteners replacing the the factory issue circular wire clip that stops the zues coming right through the bonnet with a proper 6mm E type circlip. The spring are not strong but had enough force to pull one of my zeus clip clean through the bonnet. Not the springs fault , the factory fitted wire was failing fast with use. The E clips I have fitted in place of the wire stop that completely. So I suggest considering doing this at the time of fitting the springs to save undoing them all again !


Many thanks for advice - do you have a source link to the 6mm E type circlips you used, as I want to be sure they fit without issue?

Thanks for that. Although I didn't make it clear, it's the thickness of the clips I was concerned with, since they typically fit into a machined groove. Was therefore hoping nippymog could advise which ones he used.
