Note that the price you pay for a new morgan is the price at time of dispatch, NOT at time of order.
so if you ordered today but it was dispatched from factory after the new price list is in force you pay the then current price, ie the higher price.
not that a few hundred quid should be an issue i guess when we are talking over £30,000 for a car without roof, heater, pas, windows that looks like a upturned bath tub!! Greatest of fun though...........!

It seems that Morgan shouldn't take an order at an agreed price and then change the price upon delivery.
Yes pretty sure I'm 100% correct on that, unless its changed since this time last year. Best check with a dealer to be 100% but thats how the Morgan ordering system works. Thinking about it, was talking to a guy in jan at the open day who has a plus8 on order since last Dec. Thats subject to an april price increase - its not due to be made until June/july so he will have to pay the increased cost apparently - another £1500 odd i think.
I know when you usually order a car its price is fixed at time of order - not so in the Morgan world.
1) The price is fixed at the time of purchase, but in GBP. In the New World, you must make payment in GBP, and at any time, as long as payment is received on or before actual delivery. So, the actual price can fluctuate based on the value of the GBP relative to the USD. I would think someone who ordered before the April 1 price revise would pay the GBP quoted at time of purchase. In any event, it might make sense to make payment in full before April 1, especially since the exchange rate is so favorable for Yanks.
2) I never understood the leather to be be "Waterproof", and frankly that sounds like a violation of nature...can we all say "Vinyl"...and like that unsympathetic material, totally unappealing. To make leather truly "Waterproof" would require a topical layer of some form of PVC, which reminds me of embalming...with the same nasty connotation. If anything, an M3W is truly alive.
