Regrettably I think we will see more atrocities throughout Europe before they are defeated.
When these lunatics are prepared to blow themselves up along with innocent people it must be almost impossible for the security services to prevent.
I feel so sorry for the people of Brussels and Paris before that.

All very reminiscent of the IRA attacks on England in the 70s.
Caroline lived through the "Troubles" in N Ireland through the 70s. Although her experiences haven been, to a degree, put to one side the events today left her shaken.
I doubt she will ever enter an airport again.
I expect this period will last 20 to 30 years. It will not be a lot of fun and the European freedoms of the last 30 years will soon be a memory.
