My 2014 manufactured +4 came with an Alpine Radio CDE 181RM already fitted (remote ready) and it was only last weekend that I got the remote for it (an Alpine RUE 4202 for £21.99) and it works well. I guess the radio is located well back under the dash for security, but it does make it difficult to access and operate - but the remote makes it dead easy.
Mine was fitted with the cheapy 171 model which needs the IR sensor plugged in - must be similar model to Peters as mentioned above.
Put that down to the fuss I made with Morgan in 2012. It was after that that they moved to models that could have a remote. First, like mine with an external receiver and later with the built in receiver.
