to bridge waiting period a bit, I got some earplugs for wifey and myself. they should eliminate some of the windnoise and also protect my ears from infection.
After developing tinnitus years ago (many miles on Harleys) I had a set of ear plugs custom made. Not cheap, but basically last forever vs. the hardware store types. Here in Maryland, the generic hardware store types are illegal to use in motorcycles, but custom made ones are not!
