I thought it was a charming characteristic of Morgan classic ownership when I first bought he car. I quite enjoyed getting stuck in to a bit of easy-mechanics - at first. Done it a couple of times now and am probably starting to agree with the legends that are Madmax and SBM. Think I'll probably find a local garage to have it done when I'm abroad (or somewhere equally remote like Scotland).
I was chatting to an ex-Morgan owner the other day (Roadster) who never greased them in three years and lots of miles. Didn't notice any deterioration (do Roadsters have king pins to grease?)
Yes they do! And it's not any easier either - well having said that it's not too bad ...just a very messy job ...particularity if the grease gun needs fresh grease!
I think you can buy a pre loaded grease cartridge for my gun..but guess what ..I cannot find any!!
